When we moved to Denmark, we missed the authentic taste of Crete, which we both grew up with. This taste, the Cretan diet, has been based on olive oil for hundreds of years, mainly due to its many health benefits. It is the essence and strength of the culinary Mediterranean cuisine, but also of the people.
With twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry and having grown up in a culture where olive oil is paramount, we understand the value and benefits of the Cretan diet, and we wish to enrich the Danish population with it.
We decided to start a company with the intention of importing olive oil and other high-quality Cretan products that have so far only been available to the local population in Crete. We have established collaborations with small producers in Crete who prioritize both sustainable farming and organic practices. We also aim to support them in continuing their heritage for many more generations, so you can continue to enjoy the authentic taste of Crete.
